Blogging: Don't Knock It 'Til You rock It!

TIPS,TRICK,VIRAL,INFO

My daughter, Kristin, 21, poked fun at me last week for blogging. Mom, arent most bloggers, like, 15-years-old? But something roughly my blog grabbed her interest. In fact, a week later, she joined my weblog community.

Her first blog publish was a little tentative:

What's the saying? Don't knock it 'til you stone it (or something to that effect). for that reason here goes...hmm.....this is hard...Because I am a little skeptical of who may be reading this I'll just start out simple.

A blog (short for weblog) is an online diary or journal. Its a little unnerving to reveal journal entries upon a public blog, not knowing who may read them.

The first week that I blogged, I abbreviated myself to death because I was anxious virtually what people would think approximately my real life. To further go to to my paranoia, others started posting observations to my entries, correspondingly I knew people were out there . . . reading.

So, are blogs authentic journals or not?
My first thought was no. Blogging seemed more gone a conversation next contacts than personal journaling. After all, personal journaling is all just about recording private thoughts and blogs are public.

However, my thoughts about blogging are changing. A little at a time, I make public who I am through my blog. My blog posts are evolving into thoughts and explanation virtually energy that I no longer self-edit. Its been a liberating experience.

In my personal journal, I write things that I know to be real approximately myself that I'm unable to way of being for one explanation or another. when I'm over and done with journaling, I tuck the journal in a drawer, put on my mask and go out into the world.

Not visceral legal to who I in reality am causes every kinds of problems in my relationships. Further, if my behavior doesnt line occurring next my values, it keeps me from meeting important goals, growing spiritually and compromises my beast and mental health.

Its important to keep a personal journal for my eyes without help I always will. But integrating some of the thoughts I autograph album in my journal as soon as my public blog is peeling away layers of self-consciousness and tentativeness.

I knew I was a authentic blogger bearing in mind I re-read a blog herald and, then again of editing it, I thought, This is who I am, and, hey, Im okay!

My other philosophy as a blogger is: The closer I can acquire to integrating my genuine self into my public self, the bigger off I am. And, of course, Dont knock it til you rock it!
